Pace Center for Girls Pinellas Park, Florida

WorldLegacy’s NC 178 Leadership Team’s vision is a connected world with unity, infinite possibilities and love.  Our vision is of a world where all of humanity gives and receives love freely.  We are committed to a society of givers and risk-takers.  Our leadership team was committed to giving to the youth so they get that they are worthy and valuable.

This project aligns with our vision because it provided a safe and beautiful space that supports girls who are in the justice system, experiencing a family crisis, victims of abuse or who are at risk of dropping out of school.  The project remodeled and upgraded part of the Pace Center for Girls in Pinellas Park, Florida.  Our intention was to provide a warm and professional place that expresses to the young women that they matter.

During the weekend of October 18, 2019, the team renovated and upgraded the Great Room to look professional and in excellence by installing commercial vinyl plank flooring and repainting the walls. The team transformed the Calm Room into a warm and safe place by installing new carpeting, painting the room, providing a beautiful couch, two bean bags, a coffee table, and improved lighting. The team placed inspirational statements on the walls of the great room and the calming room to inspire the girls.  Budget:  $30,500
